There will be viva session for Fluid Mechanics 1 when all labs finished. Today is my group turn. I just remember some killer question that the instructor ask us:

1) Viscosity

• What the exact name for this experiment?
• What is viscometer?
• What is viscosit?
• What safety precautions that must be taken into consideration?
• What the application in industrial sector?
  
  

2) Flowmeter

• The objective of the experiment?
• The use of orice, venturi and rotameter devices
• Why the reading of venturi device is more accurate compare to rotameter?
• What equation involved? (Bernoulli)
• The application in daily life? (spray system)
  
  

3) Impact of Jet

• What is impact of jet?
• Which one surface has greater impact?(90 degree) why?
• Which surface has greater flow rate?why?
  
  

4) Bernoulli Equation

• The objective of the experiment?
• What ou understand from this experiment?
• What type of pressure we measure with velocity? (Static pressure)
• Total pressure is outside and the static pressure is inside the tube.wh?
• What is the meaning of continuity?
  
  

Thats all the question for my group. The things here, some u may not get the info during the lab session. But that question always being ask. So u better prepared with those question because they(instructors) are crazy.
